In the last 6 years at Google, creating and directing the Vertical Travel in Spain, to become one of the largest in EMEA and as member of its Global Travel Ads Advisory Committee, I have enjoyed a unique international visibility of what was happening in each market and what are the travel trends. And this has led me to firmly believe in the key importance of connectivity and information on the go, in the present and in the future of travel. Thus was born my personal project as entrepreneur,  ConnectedtoGo, to which I am mostly devoted since last April, and in which we are lucky enough to already have the trust and support of very relevant national and international travel brands, with other important names in the pipeline.

For great prices ConnectedtoGo lets business and leisure travelers improve their travel experience with the Router ConnectedtoGo. It allows them to not only be constantly connected, informed and able to share what matters, but also to access useful information about travel services and their destination without worrying about costs. It is what we call WiFi Everywhere®.  Thanks to the ConnectedtoGo’s Tablets Exclusive Configuration and our proprietary Apps, Work&Play® and LocalGuide®, together with a professional GPS navigation system guided by voice or the more up-to-date version of Google Maps with Street view,  both business and pleasure travel is much easier. Abusive roaming charges, slow internet, inaccurate directions that put us at the risk of getting lost, being disconnected, not being able to share with our friends what we like, not being able to talk, chat, write or freely navigate, will be something of the past.
We have created the ConnectedtoGo Router, a device that is the size of a credit card, and by pressing one button, you can have your own portable high speed WiFi of 200MB per day (or 100MB or 50MB).  In addition you can connect up to 5 devices at the same time. All for less than 8 to 3 euros a day, VAT and all risks insurance included. The pilgrimage in search of an internet connection or the need to be tied to a cable is over. The days of paying a fortune for slow internet connection with little capacity are done as well. Also we have chosen and configured  the ConnectedtoGo Tablet, a Premium 7 inches Android Tablet , the perfect size to be hand held.   With our Apps,  it is a greattravel companion, completely personalized for the traveller and the destination that is being visited. For less than7 to 2 euros a day, VAT and all risks insurance included.
Our business model is based on the following lines:

– Agreements with Rent a Car companies, which have our routers and tablets in theirs locations and rent them directly and through their websites to their clients. The star is our Tablet ConnectedtoGo (Navigator&Multimedia), which provides a much better experience than any navigator, at a cheaper price.

– Agreements with Hotel Chains, which have our routers and tablets in their hotels receptions and rent them directly and through their websites to their clients; or offer our Tablets as part of a improved value proposition to their more valuable clients, based on a renting agreement with us.

– Agreements with independent hotels, which have our routers and tablets in theirs hotels receptions and rent them directly and through their websites to their clients, guaranteeing us a minimum monthly revenue

– Agreements with Airlines, OTAs, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators and DMCs, which offer the rental of our products to their clients, through their different platforms, once theirs clients have bought a travel service related to a destination where we have an airport office (the main leisure Spanish airports), as the pick up and retrieval are made at our offices.

Our value proposition is really engaging as our prices are much cheaper that any Roaming Plan a visitor to Spain could have. And we achieve a high conversion rate as we have eliminated the on line payment issues, we do not require deposit and we give for free an insurance which covers damages, robbery and theft.

We have the goal of improving the information and communication experience of travelers in a way that has not been done before. Can we count you in?
